COMPUTER ASSOCIATES’ MASTERPIECE RANGE BRINGS IN NEW BUSINESSES

By CBR Staff Writer

In what appears to be a vindication of its recent public sector strategy, Computer Associates Ltd claims its Masterpiece range of financial applications has generated UKP2m worth of new second quarter business from a cross section of 23 public bodies: those named include the Greater Glasgow Health Board, South Bucks District Council and Blackburn Borough Council; key to Masterpiece’s success, says CA, is the fact that it can be run on IBM, DEC, ICL, and Unisys hardware.
