When Computer Associates International Inc reported fiscal second quarter results last week, many analysts say they believed the earnings were so disappointing because the company had taken a $30m charge on acquisition of Cullinet Software Inc entirely during the second quarter, but now the firm says it took some of it in the first period, so the figures are even worse.
