Garden City, New York-based Computer Associates International Inc has decided to walk away from its proposed bid for Management Science America Inc after the Atlanta company put in place anti takeover measures with the approval of shareholders. In face of these, Computer Associates reckoned as slim the chance of a hostile bid succeeding.
