The Unicenter TNG Microsoft Exchange Option 2.0 delivers enhancements that enable organizations to further increase service and reliability of the Exchange environment through both extended performance monitoring and centralized reporting. The new version also enables predictive analysis of Microsoft Exchange through Neugents, CA’s patented predictive intelligence technology. By analyzing hundreds of different parameters, the Neugents can predict when problems with Microsoft Exchange may occur.

With the launch of Exchange 2000, customers will be looking to CA’s Unicenter TNG Microsoft Exchange Option 2.0 to not only ensure availability and reliability, but have the added assurance of predictive intelligence for optimum performance, said Stan Sorensen, group product manager, Server Applications at Microsoft, in a press release.

All Microsoft Exchange servers are automatically discovered by Unicenter TNG. IT departments can then additional Unicenter TNG functions such as cross platform and cross application user administration, end-user response time, backup and restore, antivirus protection, and software distribution to handle Microsoft Exchange deployment and administrative tasks.

The Unicenter TNG Microsoft Exchange Option enables organizations to manage their Exchange environments with flexible, business-based policies from a single point of control, said Allan Andersen, vice president, business management for CA. It ensures high availability and compliance with service level agreements that are critical to success in eBusiness.
