In what looks rather like overkill, Computer Associates International Inc, Garden City, New York and Cullinet Software Inc, Westwood, Massachusetts both issued warnings about their upcoming figures: Computer Associates, which has already issued one warning, now says there is substantial uncertainty about its figures for its fiscal second quarter to September, in part because of bureaucratic delays – of about a month – in completing the acquisition of Cullinet Software.
