Computer 2000 AG, Munich has expanded its Swiss division with acquisition of Zurich-based distributor Swiss DataSet. Privately-held DataSet specialises in Hewlett-Packard Co computers and peripherals, employs around 55 staff and will help Swiss Computer 2000 towards turnover the equivalent of $65m this year – the Rotkreuz-based distributor claims the acquisition makes it the country’s largest personal computer and peripheral distributor. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
