COMPUSERVE DIRECTORS WOULD CONSIDER SELLING IT

CompuServe Inc chairman Frank Salizzoni said Friday at the annual shareholder’s meeting that the board of directors would consider selling the company if an interested buyer materialized. CompuServe executives also stated that the company expects to post a loss for the year ending April 30 that is in line with analysts’ expectations. Among other problems, subscribers to the online service have been dwindling and its CEO Robert Massey resigned last month.
