COMPUSA SHARES TAKE A PLUNGE

At least it was ahead, but a 1.5% increase in sales for the fourth quarter from shares open a year ago at CompUSA Inc was by no means enough to satisfy Wall Street and the shares plunged about 25%. The market had been expecting a figure closer 3% and the disappointing numbers forced analysts to cut their fourth quarter estimates; the shares were down $4.87 at $15.87.
