Retailer CompUSA Inc, Dallas, Texas acquired a 10% interest in InfoSource Inc, a Winter Park, Florida software development company, for an undisclosed sum. As part of the deal InfoSource will create customized software and license its InfoCheck skills-assessment software for CompUSA’s computer training classes. CompUSA has rights to acquire additional equity. It operates more than 300 training classrooms in its 103 computer stores.
