Personal computer mass marketeer CompuAdd Corp has started shipping its newest Sparcsystem, the SS1+H, a $5,500 25MHz 15.8 MIPS model that is claimed to run 25% faster than the original SS1: a base unit includes 8Mb of memory upgradeable to 64Mb, 3.5 1.44Mb drive, three S-bus slots, 19 monochrome monitor, mouse, keyboard and the SunOS Unix.
