Information technology consultant and services provider Complete Business Solutions Inc is to purchase software developer and services company Synergy Software Inc in a deal valued at $32m. Farmington Hills, Michigan-based Complete – which obviously wasn’t as complete as its name suggested – has signed a definitive merger agreement with Schaumburg, Illinois-based Synergy, which will operate as a division of Complete Business Solutions, headed by Synergy president Richard Early. Even after the merger Complete won’t be complete, and says it’s on the look out for further partnerships, mergers and acquisitions. The companies will form a joint venture that will see the establishment of an Enterprise Resource Planning center in Chicago which will provide training in applications from PeopleSoft Inc and SAP AG.
