COMPLAINTS OVER BRITISH TELECOM’S DIAL-A-PORN

By CBR Staff Writer

British Telecom has come in for a lot of flack but little else over the suggestive and sleazy recorded messages offered over its premium information services, but in the US, things are coming to a head and the Federal Communications Commission is investigating Audio Enterprises Inc of Mill Valley, California after a mother complained that three of her children, including a 10-year-old girl, and their friends listened for 211 minutes to the company’s dial-a-porn message: within two days, she complained, two of the boys molested the girl – after she encouraged them using phrases from the recorded message.
