Comparex Informationssysteme GmbH says that, following the European territoral carve up with Hitachi Data Systems Inc, it expects total revenues to be similar to those last year: around 300 employees are being laid off with consequent restructuring costs of roughly $15m to $25m – all the charges will be accounted for in the 1993 figures, but despite this the company says it will still make a small profit.
