Newport Beach, California-based Comparator Systems Corp says it has completed the engineering prototype for its new fingerprint-comparison system, and says it will start manufacturing it in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by mid-year: the system compares fingerprints with master prints on file in a database in less than a second, the firm said.
