Compaq Computer Corp yesterday launched its first major line based on Advanced Micro Devices Inc Am486 chips. The new Presarios are designed to integrate a range of home and home office appliances, including cable-ready television, speakerphone, facsimile machine, compact disk sound system and Personal Message Center with voice mail and address book functions. The family is priced at between $1,500 and $1,900.
