Compaq Computer Corp is investing $57m to build an international distribution centre in Gorinchem, Netherlands to provide a more central location for handling the computers made at its Scottish facilities and from its plants in Houston and Singapore, and co-ordinate deliveries from third party suppliers. The new centre is planned to be fully operational in 1993 when it is envisaged that it will employ over 150 people.
