Compaq Computer Corp has formed a new European product group to concentrate on its lines of networking and communications products. The new communications group will be headed by Patrick Lelorieux, who joined Compaq from Hewlett-Packard Co’s workgroup networking products business. Compaq’s communications products of low-end networking products includes adapters, modems, hubs, routers and repeaters.
