COMPAQ CUTTING PC PRICES IN JAPAN

Compaq Computer Corp is determined to make the life of NEC Corp and the other Japanese personal computer manufacturers a complete misery: it is cutting prices by from 13% to 26% on 24 models of its personal computers sold in Japan between now and the end of this year, covering the Deskpro, Contra and ProLinea.
