COMPAQ COMPUTER CORP HAS CUT PRICES ON DESKPRO COMPUTERS

Compaq Computer Corp has cut prices on its Deskpro computers up to 20% and cut some memory options up to 25%: the 386/25e with 120Mb disk is cut 17.6% to $7,000; the 386s Model 1 is off 10.7% to $2,500; and the 286N with 40Mb disk 7.7% to $2,400.
