Compaq Computer Corp added two new models of its Presario line of personal computers for the consumer market, the Compaq Presario CDS 860 multimedia machine comes with bundled CD-ROM titles and a built-in facsimile modem at $2,000 – but that does not include a monitor; the Presario 660 includes telephone answering capabilities and the modem and costs $1,400; both are built around the Advanced Micro Devices Inc Am486SX2/66 microprocessor.
