Compaq Computer Corp has bought an undisclosed minority stake in PureSpeech Inc, the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based former Integrated Speech Solutions to cement a relationship under which it intends to exploit the company’s neural network-based speaker-independent continuous speech recognition in its computers.
