Compaq Computer Corp and Citizen over here are silent as the grave on the OEM agreement under which the Japanese company is manufacturing Compaq’s LTE and LTE/286 notepad computers, but Citizen Watch Co in Tokyo is much more forthcoming: it says that it looks for about $75m of business from the product line in the first year, and is initially building 20,000 a month.
