COMPAQ ADDS THE COMPAQ ADVANCED GRAPHICS 1024 BOARD AND COLOUR MONITOR

Compaq Computer Corp has added the Compaq Advanced Graphics 1024 Board and the Advanced Graphics Colour Monitor, which combine to make a system for computer-aided design and engineering users who need higher screen resolution than VGA: the graphics board offers 256 simultaneous on-screen colours at 1,024 by 768 resolution and costs $1,500 and the monitor is $2,000; a graphics memory board costs $600.
