Compaq Computer Corp yesterday added 33 new Pentium and two new Pentium Pro models to its product line, and cut prices by up to 21% on several existing commercial desktop machines. The low-end Compaq ProLinea 5120e Model 630 was cut 16% to $1,550, and the ProLinea 5100 Model 630 was cut 15% to $1,565. Deskpro models were cut by up to 21% with a Deskpro 5133 Model 1080 cut 19% to $2,510 with 133MHz processor, 16Mb memory and a 1.08Gb disk. The Deskpro XL line was cut up to 16%. Compaq added 150MHz and 166MHz Pentium models to the ProLinea and Deskpro families. Seven new ProLinea 5150 and 5166 mini-tower and desktop machines range in price from $2,685 to $3,425. Eight Deskpro models go from $2,819 to $3,579.
