COMPANY RESULTS: SEQUENT COMPUTER SYSTEMS INC

Sequent Computer Systems Inc has reported fourth quarter net profits down 76.5% at $2.5m on turnover up 20.7% at $183.3m; net profits for the year to December 28 were down 77.8% at $7.8m on turnover up 10.2% to $595.4m. Net per share fell 77.4% to $0.07 in the quarter, 77.9% to $0.23 in the year.
