AmeriQuest Technologies Inc has reported first quarter net losses of $7.0m, up from $1.1m losses last time, on turnover that rose 103.6% to $100.7m.

Applied Computer Technology Inc has reported third quarter net profits of $403,522, against $97,683 losses last time, on turnover up to $7.9m, from $2.6m last time; nine month net profits were $497,149, against $128,516 losses last time, on turnover up 63.7% at $14.5m. Net per share was $0.19 in the quarter, $0.23 in the three quarters.

Cambex Corp has reported net losses for the year to August 31 of $9.9m, against $590,000 profits last time, on turnover that was down 13.3% to $35.2m.

Brandon Systems Corp has reported fourth quarter net profits up 21.8% at $1.7m, on turnover up 18.0% at $20.8m; net profits for the year to October 1 were up 22.3% at $6.0m, on turnover that rose 20.4% to $80.6m. Net earnings per share rose 20% to $0.36 in the quarter, and 20% to $1.32 in the year.

Data Research Associates Inc saw fourth quarter net profits static at $1.5m, on turnover up 5.6% at $8.6m; net profits for the year to September 30 were up 23.6% at $3.6m, on turnover that rose 37.7% to $34.9m. Net per share remained at $0.42 in the quarter, and rose 23.8% to $0.99 in the year.

Globalink Inc has reported third quarter net losses of $1.3m, against $109,000 profits last time, on turnover that was down 16.3% at $3.7m; nine month net losses were $668,000, against $178,000 profits last time, on turnover that was up 9.6% at $13.4m.

Hyperion Software Inc saw first quarter net profits up 18.4% at $2.2m on turnover that rose 39.1% to $36.6m. Net per share rose 13.6% to $0.25.

IFR Systems Inc reported first quarter net profits up 121.8% at $408,000, on turnover that rose 15.5% to $19.9m. Net per share rose 133.3% to $0.07.

International Microcomputer Software Inc saw first quarter net profits that were down 29.1% at $71,646 on turnover that rose 7.3% to $5.1m. Shares have been adjusted for a 3 for 2 stock split payable on November 3. Net per share was down 33.3% to $0.02.

Midcom Communications Inc has reported third quarter net losses of $3.7m, after an extraordinary $3.0m charge for early repayment of debt, up from $578,000 losses last time, on turnover that was up 89.2% at $51.5m; nine month net losses were $8.0m, after the same charge, up from $1.5m losses last time, on turnover that rose 95.2% to $144.3m.

MTS Systems Corp has reported fourth quarter net profits up 194.2% at $6.2m, on turnover up 19.7% at $70.0m; net profits for the year to September 30 were up 20.8% at $10.5m, on turnover that rose 16.7% to $234.1m. Net per share rose 195.6% to $1.33 in the quarter, 24.3% to $2.30 in the year.

MySoftware Corp has reported third quarter net profits up 46.0% at $422,000 on turnover up 68.7% at $3.6m; nine month net profits rose 114.9% to $1.4m on turnover that rose 51.1% at $9.1m.

Orion Network Systems Inc has reported third quarter net losses of $7.0m, up from $2.2m losses last time, on turnover that rose to $6.2m, from $896,099 last time; nine month net losses were $20.0m, up from $5.9m losses last time, on turnover that was up to $13.9m, from $2.2m turnover last time. Page America Group Inc has reported third quarter net losses of $5.7m, up from $1.1m losses last time, on turnover down 29.4% at $6.7m; nine month net losses were $12.5m, up from $5.0m losses last time, on turnover that was up 18.2% at $23.2m.

Wind River Systems Inc has reported third quarter net profits up 98.8% at $1.5m, on turnover up 40.5% at $1.5m; nine month net profits rose 206.9% to $3.4m, on turnover that was up 39.0% at $30.2m. Net earnings per share rose 87.5% to $0.15 in the quarter, 175% to $0.33 in the three quarters.

Newbridge Networks Corp reported second quarter net profits static at the equivalent of $33.5m, on turnover up 13.4% at $160.3m; mid-term net profits fell 5.4% to $60.9m, on turnover up 13.7% at $304.6m. Net per share was static at $0.40 in the quarter, and fe

ll 4.9% to $0.72 in the half. Figures converted at $0.7381 to the Canadian dollar.

Telecom Argentina SA has reported fourth quarter net profits up 0.9% at $70.9m, on turnover up 1.9% at $497.4m; net profits for the year to September 30 were up 6.7% at $306.6m, on turnover that rose 1.1% to $1,980.2m. Net earnings per share rose 6.5% to $3.11 in the year, no earnings per share figures available for the quarter. The Argentinian phone company reports its figures in US dollars.

DDI Corp has reported net profits for the six months to September 30 down 19.2% to the equivalent of $120.7m, on turnover up 24.5% to $2,982.4m. No earnings per share figures available. The figures were converted at $0.0098 to the Japanese yen.

TDK Corp has reported net profits for the year to September 30 up 73.0% to the equivalent of $95.8m, on turnover that rose 8.5% to $2,510.7m. No earnings per share figures were available. The figures were converted at $0.0098 to the Japanese yen.

Granada Group Plc has reported net profits for the year to September 30 that were up 31.5% at ú252.8m, on turnover that rose 13.5% to ú2,381.2m. At the pre-tax level, profits were up 32.4% at ú351.3m. Earnings per share rose 22.2% to 39.1 pence.

Kewill Systems Plc has reported net profits for the six months to September 30 that were up 20.3% at ú1.8m, on turnover that rose 1.0% to ú16.6m. At the pre-tax level, profits were up 20.6% at ú2.6m. Earnings per share rose 19.7% to 14.55 pence.
