AmeriLink Corp has reported second quarter net profits that were down 2.1% at $534,463 on turnover up 27.9% at $16.4m; mid-term net fell 73.2% to $328,174 on turnover up 15.3% at $27.5m.

Advanced Photonix Inc has reported second quarter net losses of $114,000 down from losses last time of $546,000 on sales up 10.7% at $2.0m; mid-term net losses were $401,000, down from losses last time of $1.0m on turnover that rose 10.9% at $3.9m.

ASA International Ltd has reported third quarter net profits up 12.5% at $81,000 on turnover up 12.5% at $7.9m; nine-month net rose 82.3% to $226,000 on turnover up 15.6% at $22.7m. Net per share remained flat at $0.02 in the quarter, and rose 66.7% to $0.05 in the nine months.

Aydin Corp has reported third quarter net profits that was down 40.6% at $774,000 on turnover down 6.1% at $32.9m; nine-month net fell 19.4% to $3.0m on turnover that was down 2.5% at $105.0m. Net earnings per share fell 42.3% to $0.15 in the quarter, and fell 20% to $0.60 in the nine months.

California Microwave Inc has reported first quarter net profit down 1.4% at $5.1m on turnover up 0.5% to $115.8m. Net per share remained flat at $0.31.

Cerner Corp saw third quarter net down 31.1% at $3.5m on turnover up 1.9% at $41.7m; nine-month net rose 9.6% to $14.2m on turnover up 20.4% at $133.9m. Net per share fell 35.3% to $0.11 in the quarter and rose 4.5% to $0.46 in the nine months.

Coda Music Technology Inc has reported second quarter net losses of $583,702, down from $820,306 losses last time, on turnover up 34.5% at $838,368; mid-term net losses were $835,473, down from $1.5m losses last time, on turnover up 72.4% at $2.2m.

Communications Systems Inc saw third quarter net up 44.8% at $2.2m on turnover up 15.1% at $20.2m; nine-month net rose 47.6% to $7.0m on turnover up 22.8% at $66.9m. Net per share rose 43.8% to $0.23 in the quarter, 46.2% to $0.76 in the nine months.

Fibercorp International Inc saw third quarter net losses of $422,907, down from $851,325 losses last time, on turnover down 88.3% at $106,658; nine month net losses were $2.0m, down from $2.3m losses last time, on turnover that fell 76.8% to $665,169.

Intelligent Systems Corp saw third quarter net of $867,000 against a loss last time of $866,000 that included a gain of $818,000 on the partial sale of the company’s investments on turnover up 10.0% at $7.1m; nine month net losses were $69,000 against$6.5m last time on turnover up 29.6% at $20.4m.

PC Service Source Inc has reported third quarter net losses of $1.7m against a profit last time of $465,000 on sales up 48.8% at $16.3m; nine month net losses were $1.5m against a profit last time of $1.4m on sales up 58.4% at $48.4m.

Quality Systems Inc has reported second quarter net profits up 185.1% at $527,800, on turnover that was up 49.7% at $4.2m; mid-term net profits rose 176.3% to $1.1m, on turnover that was up 36.1% at $8.0m. Net earnings per share trebled to $0.12 in the quarter, and rose 187.5% to $0.23 in the half.

Shared Technologies Inc has reported third quarter net profits down 68.2% at $191,690 on turnover up 10.2% at $16.0m; nine month net profits rose 32.7% to $2.1m on turnover up 38.6% at $43.7m. Net per share fell 85.7% to $0.01 in the quarter, and fell 4.8% to $0.20 in the three quarters.

Signal Technology Corp saw third quarter net down 38.4% at $589,000 on sales down 2.1% at $22.3m; nine month net loss of $29,000 against a profit last time of $3.1m on sales down 2.5% at $65.8m. Net per share fell 38.5% to $0.08 in the quarter, and fell from 0.42 to nil in the three quarters.

Spectravision Inc saw third quarter net losses of $22.5m down from losses of $22.6m last time on turnover that was down 11.6% at $30.6m; nine-month net losses were $62.1m up from a loss of $51.9m last time on turnover down 11.5% at $95.8m.

Teledyne Inc reported third quarter net up 78.8% at $34.5m on turnover up 2.6% at $593m; nine-month net profit was $130.5m against a loss las

t time of $24.8m on turnover that rose 10.2% at $1,925.2m.

Xata Corp has reported that fourth quarter net profits soared 768% to $246,000 on turnover that rose 59.3% at $2.1m; net profits for the year to September 30 were $792,700 against a loss last time of $971,800 on turnover that rose 164.2% to $2.1m.

Maritime Telegraph and Telephone Co saw third quarter net profits down 41.4% at $7.7m on turnover up 6.8% at $107.7m; nine-month net fell 36.7% to $18.3 on turnover up 3.9% at $313.8m. Figures are restated and converted at $73.4 to the Canadian dollar.

Mitsubishi Electric Corp reported net six months to September 30 up 21.3% to the equivalent of $249.8m, on turnover that rose 4.6% to $15,849.4m. Net earnings per share rose 20.3% to $0.11. Figures were converted at $0.0099 to the Japanese yen.

NEC Corp reported net profits for the six months to September 30 up 78.5% to the equivalent of $200.5m, on turnover that rose 10.3% to $19,019.3m. Net earnings per share rose 78.0% to $0.13. Figures were converted at $0.0099 to the Japanese yen.

Omron Corp has reported net profits for the six months to September 30 up 105.5% to the equivalent of $77.9m, on turnover that rose 8.3% to $2,425.4m. Net earnings per share rose 81.2% to $0.30. Figures were converted at $0.0099 to the Japanese yen.
