Comarco Inc saw third quarter net up 7.1% at $1.0m on turnover up 1.1% at $18.5m; net for the year so far rose 17.9% at $2.7m on turnover up 6.2% to $53.1m. Net per share remained flat at $0.20 in the quarter, rose 15.2% to $0.53 in the nine months.

Data Broadcasting Corp has reported first quarter net profits down 5.4% at $1.3m, after an exceptional merger and reconsolidation charge of $875,000, against a period including a $385,000 reorganisation gain, on turnover that rose 48.2% to $28.2m. Net earnings per share fell 33% to $0.06.

Data Systems & Software Inc saw third quarter net down 90.9% at $1.7m that included a net gain of $15.8m attributable to the change in the Company’s ownership interest in its Tower subsidiary on turnover down 39.5% at $56.2m; nine-month dropped 93.6% to $1.1m on turnover down 39.8% at $20.3m. Net per share fell 90.2% to $0.25 in the quarter, and fell 93.1% to $0.15 in the nine months.Digital Descriptor Systems Inc has reported third quarter net losses of 509,478 up from a loss last time of $264,710 on sales up 48.4% at $468,159; nine month net losses were $547,310 against $524,861 last time on sales up 84.3% at $2.0m.

Geotek Communications Inc has reported third quarter net loss of $21.2m up from a loss last time of $17.6m on turnover up 18.7% at $20.9m; nine month net losses were $60.4m up from a loss last time of $49.4m on turnover up 66.6% at $60.4m.

Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc saw fourth quarter net up 345.9% at $16.8m on turnover up 100.2% at $101.0m; net profits for the year to September 30 were up 368.6% at $42.8m on turnover that rose 75.7% to $304.5m. Net per share rose 269.6% to $0.85 in the quarter, 252.4% to $2.22 in the year.

RayTech Corp has reported third quarter net profit down 16.8% at $1.6m on turnover down 0.9% at $41.7m; net profit for the nine months was up 57.8% at $11.8m on turnover that rose 6.1% to $137.3m. Net earnings per share, off 16% to $0.47 in the quarter, rose 57.3% to $3.46 in the nine months.

SSE Telecom Inc has reported fourth quarter net losses of $258,883 against a profit last time of $505,644 on turnover down 2.8% at $8.1m; net profits for the year to September 30 were down $49.3% at $1.1m on turnover that rose 11.3% to $33.6m.

Cable & Wireless Plc has reported net profits for the six months to September 30 up 42.0% at #625m, after a #199m exceptional gain from the company’s sale of its stake in Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH, on turnover that rose 6.9% to #2,711m. At the pre-tax level, profits were up 43.7% at #815m. Earnings per share rose 64.7% to 19.6 pence in the half.

C E Heath Plc has reported net losses for the six months to September 30 of ú4.1m on turnover that rose less than 1% to ú82m. At the pre-tax level, profits were up 61.3% at ú10.3m including an exceptional profit of ú3.9m from disposal of C E Heath International Holdings Ltd in July.

Trace Computers Plc has reported net profits for the year to May 31 up 20.9% at ú139,000 on turnover up 5.6% to ú19.7m. Pre-tax profits were up 1.8% at ú5.9m. Earnings per share rose 10% to 2.55 pence.
