Digi International Inc has reported fourth quarter net profits up 24.4% at $5.4m, on turnover up 20.2% at $45.8m; net profits for the year to September 30 were up 15.7% at $19.3m, on turnover that rose 26.0% to $165.0m. Net per share rose 22.6% to $0.38 in the quarter, 20% to $1.38 in the year.
Hewlett-Packard Co has reported that fourth quarter net profits rose 42% to $678m on turnover that rose 29% to $9,048m. Net profit for the year to October 1 jumped 52% to $2,433m, on turnover that climbed 26% to $31,519m. Net earnings per share, adjusted for a two-for-one split in March, soared 40% to $1.29 in the quarter, 51% to $4.63 in the year.
