Autodesk Inc has reported third quarter net profits up 20.8% at $19.2m, on turnover up 18.8% at $128.5m; nine month net profits rose 46.1% to $71.5m, on turnover that was up 25.5% at $407.9m. Net earnings per share rose 18.8% to $0.38 in the quarter, 42.4% to $1.41 in the three quarters.

Digi International Inc has reported fourth quarter net profits up 24.4% at $5.4m, on turnover up 20.2% at $45.8m; net profits for the year to September 30 were up 15.7% at $19.3m, on turnover that rose 26.0% to $165.0m. Net per share rose 22.6% to $0.38 in the quarter, 20% to $1.38 in the year.

Hewlett-Packard Co has reported that fourth quarter net profits rose 42% to $678m on turnover that rose 29% to $9,048m. Net profit for the year to October 1 jumped 52% to $2,433m, on turnover that climbed 26% to $31,519m. Net earnings per share, adjusted for a two-for-one split in March, soared 40% to $1.29 in the quarter, 51% to $4.63 in the year.

Intellicorp Inc has reported first quarter net losses of $472,000, after a $414,000 restructuring gain, down from $1.7m losses the same period last year, on turnover that was up 38.2% to $4.3m.

Mobile Telecommunications Technologies Corp has reported third quarter net losses of $8.7m, after a $22,000 gain on a sale of assets, up from $8.4m losses last time, which were after a similar $32,000 gain, on turnover that rose 62.4% at $64.4m; nine month net losses were $18.0m, which included a $4.5m gain on a sale of assets, up from $11.7m losses last time, which were after a $72,000 gain for the same, on turnover up 45.5% to $171.9m.

Osicom Technologies Inc has reported third quarter net profits up 129.6% at $266,377, on turnover up 32.1% at $2.7m; nine month net profits rose 144.8% to $570,220, on turnover that rose 20.0% at $5.6m. Net earnings per share rose 125% to $0.18 in the quarter, 176.9% to $0.36 in the three quarters.

Santa Cruz Operation Inc saw fourth quarter net losses of $2.6m, against $5.9m profits last time, on turnover down 6.7% at $47.2m; net losses for the year to September 30 were $6.1m, against $14.2m profits last time, on turnover up 8.3% to $199.3m.

SPS Technologies Inc has reported third quarter net profits up 110.3% at $4.2m, on turnover up 13.6% at $100.5m; nine month net profits rose to $11.2m, up from $1.6m profits last time, which were after a $3.5m unspecified pre-tax charge, on turnover up 17.7% at $303.5m. Net earnings per share rose 79.5% to $0.70 in the quarter, and to $1.90 in the three quarters, up from $0.30 a year earlier.

Telebyte Technology Inc saw third quarter net down 24.9% at $54,052 on turnover off 4.8% at $959,169; nine-month net was down 31.8% at $119,465 on sales off 0.4% to $2.9m. Net per share fell 20% to $0.04 in the quarter, 27% to $0.08 in the nine months.

Tellular Corp has turned in fourth quarter net losses of $7.0m, after a $2.5m exceptional charge related to pre-payment relating to contracted development of protype radio transceivers, down from $8.3m losses last time, on turnover that was up 89.7% at $9.3m; net losses for the year to September 30 were $19.7m, down from $27.9m losses last time, on turnover that was up 86.3% to $33.0m.

Alphameric Plc has reported net and pre-tax losses for the six months to September 30, of ú965,000, after a ú650,000 rationalisation and reorganisation 5 charge, ú521,000 of which was exceptional, against ú246,000 net and ú323,000 pre-tax profits last time, on turnover that was static at ú6.3m.
