COMPANY RESULTS

AST Research Inc has reported third quarter net profits up 19.6% at $13.2m on turnover that rose 59.7% at $591.3m; net profit for the nine months rose 18.4% at $39.4m on turnover that rose 77.7% at $1,782.7m. Net earnings per share rose 8% to $0.38 in the quarter, 13% to $1.18 in the nine months.
