COMPANY RESULTS

Novellus Systems Inc has reported fourth quarter net profits up 311.2% at $5.7m on turnover up 114.9% at $37.3m; net profit for the year to December 31 was up 158.3% at $16.1m on turnover that rose 62.7% to $113.5m. Net per share rose 280% to $0.38 in the quarter, 150% to $1.10 in the year.
