COMPANY RESULTS

Farnell Electronics Plc has reported that net profits for the year to January 30 were up 3.7% at UKP32.8m on turnover that rose 25.9% to UKP320.1m. At the pre-tax level, profits were up by 17.9% at UKP49.1m. Earnings per share rose 3% to 24.4 pence.
