Egghead Inc saw second quarter net up 855.6% at $7.4m on turnover up 11.9% at $130.1m; net profits for the 40 weeks amounted to $11.1m, against $8.8m losses last time, after a $569,000 gain in 1990 from the sale of a subsidiary, on turnover up 15.6% at $389.6m. Net per share rose 800% to $0.45 in the quarter, and was $0.67 in the forty weeks.
