Parcplace Systems Inc has reported that fourth quarter net profit jumped 492% at $912,000 on turnover that rose by 65.9% at $8.0m. Net profit for the year to March 31 was $2.0m, compared with a loss last time of $2.7m which was after an unspecified exceptional charge of $2.2m, on turnover that soared 93.6% at $26.6m. Net earnings per share climbed 500% to $0.12 and were $0.30 in the year.Pyramid Technology Corp has reported a second quarter net loss of $16.0m against a profit last time of $1.4m on turnover that fell 19.8% at $46.5m. Mid-term net loss was $15.3m against profit last time of $1.9m, on turnover down 5.8% at $106.6m.
