ALC Communications Corp has reported fourth quarter net profits up 71.6% at $12.4m against a period that included a tax credit of $2.3m, on turnover up 22.5% at $117.3m; net profit for the year to December 31 was up 119.4% at $45.7m after a loss of $7.5m from early payment of debt and $13.5m gain from an accounting change this time, and a tax credit of $7.0m last, on turnover that rose 16.1% to $436.4m. Net earnings per share rose 39.1% to $0.32 in the quarter, 66.2% to $1.23 in the year.
