R R Donnelley & Sons Inc has reported fourth quarter net profits up 7.6% at $78.8m on turnover up 8.3% at $1,309.6m; net profit for the year to December 31 was down 53.4% at $109.4m including a restructuring gain of $60.8m and after a charge of $69.5m from cumulative effect of an accounting change, on turnover that rose 4.6% to $4,387.8m. Net earnings per share rose 8.5% to $0.51 in the quarter, falling 53% to $0.71 in the year.
