COMPANY RESULTS

Vitesse Semiconductor Corp has reported a second quarter net loss of $1.7m after an exceptional charge of $200,000, down from a loss last time of $5.1m, on turnover that rose 43.5% to $8.7m; the mid-term net loss was $4.4m, down from a loss last time of $11.6m, on turnover 47.7% ahead at $16.8m.
