Medic Computer Systems Inc has reported fourth quarter net profits up 7.7% at $2.2m on turnover up 12.9% at $21.2m; net profit for the year to December 31 was down 22.6% at $6.1m after a gain from an accounting change of $121,000 this time and a charge of $1.3m last time from early payment of debt, on turnover that fell 1.2% to $74.7m. Net earnings per share rose 10.5% to $0.21 in the quarter, falling 35.2% to $0.59 in the year.
