Xylan Corp, the California-based provider of high-bandwidth switching systems has reported second quarter net income up 35% at $9.6m on revenues up 85% at $84m. Six month net income rose 39% to $18m on revenue up 71% at $159m. Earnings per share rose 33% to $0.20 for the quarter and 36% to $0.38 for the six months.
