COMPANY RESULT: WIND RIVER SYSTEMS INC

Wind River Systems Inc reported fourth-quarter net income of $8.5m compared with a loss of $7.2m on revenue which increased 36% to $38.2m over $28m. Earnings per share were $0.20, a penny better than First Call’s average of analysts’ estimates. For the year, net income rose to $26.1m over $4.9m on revenue which rose 40% to $129.4m compared with $92.4m.
