Wall Data Inc reported third-quarter net income of $4.0m compared with a loss of $256,000 on revenue which increased 17% to $43m from $36.72m. Earnings per share were $0.39, $0.02 ahead of First Call’s average of analysts’ estimates. At the nine month mark, net income was $6.3m compared with a loss of $5.7m on revenue which increased 20% to $120.8m from $100.3m. The company says it achieved sales of $9.1m for its new Cyberise web application server applications. An 18% rise in US sales of its Rumba and Onestep connectivity software was offset by an 8% decline in Europe.
