Viasoft Inc, Phoenix-based year 2000 specialist, reported fourth- quarter net income up 71% at $4.0m, or $0.22 per share, on revenue up 91% at $27.7m. For the year, net loss was $15.4m on revenue up 96% at $85.3m, compared to net income of $6.2m, or $0.36 per share, in 1996. Results for the year include a one-time acquisition charge of $27m.
