COMPANY RESULT: SAP AG

SAP AG has reported net profits for 1996 up 40% at the equivalent of $345.6m on revenue that rose 38% to $2.27bn. Net per share rose 37% to $3.34. The figures are converted at $0.609 to the German mark.
