Sage Group Plc, the Newcastle-upon-Tyne-based financial accounting software specialist, has reported net profits for the year to September 30 up 27% at 25.2m pounds on revenue that rose 11.6% to 152.1m pounds. At the pre-tax level, profits were up 25% at 37.6m pounds. Earnings per share rose 27% to 23.4 pence.
