COMPANY RESULT: PROXIM INC

Proxim Inc, the Mountain View, California-based supplier of wireless data networking products, has reported second-quarter net income up 75.5% at $1.8m on revenue up 34.4% at $13.1m. Midterm net rose 76.1% to $3.4m on revenue up 37.2% at $25.6m. Net earnings per share rose 41.7% to $0.17 in the quarter, up 39.1% to $0.32 in the half.
