COMPANY RESULT: OPTI INC

OPTi Inc, the Milpitas, California multimedia chipset supplier, has reported fourth quarter net losses of $161,000, down from net income of $1.4m, on revenues down 21% at $10.7m; net losses for the year to December 31 1998 were $4.2m, down from losses of $5.3m, on revenues that fell 41% to $40m.
