COMPANY RESULT: OBJECT DESIGN INC

Object Design Inc, Burlington, Massachusetts-based object database management software house, has reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.9m, or $0.06 per share, on revenue up 43.5% at $17.1m, compared to a net loss of $1.5m in the year-ago quarter. For the full year, net income was $4.8m on revenue up 31.9% at $62.4m, against net income of $800,000 last year. Earnings per share for the year rose to $0.17 from $0.03.
