COMPANY RESULT: NOVELL INC

Novell Inc has reported firts quarter net profits down 20.1% at $50.8m, against a period including an $18.4m restructuring charge, on revenues that fell 14.4% to $374.8m. Net earnings per share were down two cents at $0.15 per share.
