Newbridge Networks Inc, Canadian provider of ATM and frame relay networking systems, has reported second-quarter net income down 7.6% at $40.9m on revenue up 36.7% at $304.8m. Six-month net fell 1% to $86.3m on revenue up 44% at $611.3m. US depository shares fell 11.5% to $0.23 for the quarter, and 5.8% to $0.49 for the six months. Figures were calculated at a rate of $0.7052 to the Canadian dollar.
