COMPANY RESULT: MAPINFO CORP

MapInfo Corp, the Troy, New York mapping software company, reported a 104% increase in profits for the fourth quarter to September 30 on revenue which increased 17% to $12.9m; for the year, net profit was $5,000, down from $707,000 last year on revenue which rose 14% to $47.3m.
